Today I watched a short film named "My Beautiful Woman" made in Thailand for a lingerie company talks about love and reminds us of everyday heroes who we might misjudge. Beautiful.
This film really touched me and made me cry. Gently. It reminds me of my parents and the subtle bond between parents in general and their children. Sometimes you think that you understand a situation at first sight but actually there are legitimate story, full of goodness and exceptional strength hiding behind it.
May this beautiful film be massively shared and send to many people the message of love and all the tenderness I felt watching it. The film is part of an advertisement campaign made for the Thai branch of the Japanese lingerie brand Wacoal. The full movie can be seen here.
I love some of the comments posted on Youtube about it:
•Gorgeous. Heartbreaking. Brilliant. A must watch (with tissues).

•This movie is beautiful. I feel like I could find something such this short-film only in Thailand where the people see something in their own perspective and totally down with it. Please get more view I gonna show this to my friends. This is such wonderful among the nowadays industry of rubbish drama and day dream life.
•This is so beautiful. I’m very touched by her kindness to the little girl. She’s the most gorgeous girl in the world.
•Wacoal is a Japanese worldwide lingerie manufacturer. I never heard of them before but their ‘My Beautiful Woman’ promo video is hard to resist.
•The feels…… Watch it guys!
After watching this marvellous short film, my group members and I had done a reflection of it by using an app called Show Me which is only available in the Apple Store in IPad. The link below is our reflection of "My Beautiful Woman".
We tried to do it through DIEP method. DIEP stands for Describe, Interpret, Evaluate and Plan. We described about the film showing the synopsis of it which we summarised into short sentences. Then we did interpretation and we understood the meaning of it and also showed feelings towards it. We evaluate what we have learnt and make judgements based on the observations we have made. Lastly, we plan how this learning can be applied in our real life making us better in our future.
After doing this activity, I realised that reflection should be done in every situation we had either good or bad. It can be done in anytime and it is useful in our life. After we experienced in an occasion, we should learn something from it, that way our life will be meaningful. After what we have learnt, we should reflect from it. Without reflecting upon this experience, it may be quickly forgotten, or its learning potential lost. By doing this, we have feelings and thoughts in our minds that create a better understanding of the situation where we will take our action wisely. Thus, when a new situation appears, we know how to manage it with care and tackle it effectively. This way of thinking is beneficial to each and everyone of us, especially those reading my post now, as it enriches our lifestyle and deepens our meaning of life.
Thank you!!~ ;D
